Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck Suddenly Announces He is Retiring From NFL
Andrew Luck has suddenly announced after just seven seasons in the NFL that he is retiring from the NFL. It is reported by ESPN that Andrew Luck will announce his retirement from the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. It is rumored that Andrew Luck is mentally worn down and is just checking out.
Luck was the no. 1 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He battled through most of his seasons with injuries, and suffered a lingering calf injury for most of this past off-season. He led Indianapolis to the playoffs in each of his first three years before his injuries started to take a toll on his production. In 2018, Luck had a solid season after slow start.
Andrew Luck was stellar quarterback in college at Stanford University where he won the Maxwell Award and the Walter Camp Award. He twice received All-American honors. He was a two-time runner up for the Heisman Trophy in 2010 & 2011. Luck was a two-time PAC-12 Conference Player of The year in 2010 & 2011.
Luck will be ending his career with 4 Pro-Bowl appearances, and he was the 2014 NFL Passing Touchdowns Leader.
